The Manta as I found it has 4-.50-caliber machine guns and 4-20mm cannons. Original design has a 1150hp Allison engine with supercharger for high altitude operation. Design claims give it a service ceiling of over 40,000ft and a range of 3,500 miles. Intended to escort B-29s or even to perform high-speed bombing raids itself. Not sure if it ever got past the mockup stage.
