when the Japanese succeded in the Pacific,the British needed a fighter to fight the Japanese and which can be used in each islands. The design starts in 1942, the seaplane was designed with a reatractable floats which splits the lower fuselage floats with an hydraulic. They used the Napier Sabre engine which is installed in the nose of the aircraft and the armament are mounted in the wings. Unfortunately the projects was stopped due to limited supplies and serious controls in stability.
